I went for a little fishing just at the junction. For a while the c= ool breeze and then=0Athe warm. It made no difference to the fish. Only one= was interested and I never saw what it was. The thing about=0Afishing - yo= u never know whats there until it takes the fly - drives some folks to stop= fishing! which is good for the=0Arest of us - LOL=0AWood frogs were quacki= ng and a considerable number of flies were out. Not many insect eating bird= s around=0Ayet but it is a good spot for warblers soon. A Pileated Woodpeck= er fly over a little cove not far away.=0APerhaps 10 m from the ground - a = brillant bird. I often see them there this time of year and as there is lot= s of=A0=0Aold trees they perhaps nest not too far away. Hard to find.=0AA c= ouple of Mallard drakes were spending an idle afternoon on a point. No sign= of the hens.=0AAlways pleasant to spend a couple of hours standing in runn= ing water.
