Interesting Marg, did you ID them? I believe the literature on BL Ticks =
states they can become active anytime there is no snow blanket and the =
temps rise above something like 4 degrees. Unlike my experience with Dog =
Ticks which only seem to be a problem for roughly 3 months of the year.

We have picked the odd tick off all winter. I checked with the Vet in =
Milton and she has been seeing them all winter too.
