It was swimming= maybe 100 m out into the lake and=A0=0Acarrying stuff from the bottom to t= he house. Looked like water loged sticks. It would swim=A0=0Aa long piece b= efore the house was finished.=0ABeavers were in the lake also although we d= idn't see any. They had chewed the bark from the base=0Aof a red maple and = the sap was running. The sap had gathered so many flies the chewed off=0Aar= ea was black. Beavers helping flies! Another spot we saw a number of stick = on=0Athe lake bottom.
