Index of Subjects Hi All, In Port Williams we received a lot a rain yesterday, followed by freezing rain for a couple of hours and this morning were greeted by a foot of snow! The sewer pond hosted about a hundred mallards, three black ducks, the pair of lesser scaup, the drake Redhead and 21 common goldeneyes. As I was walking home I was looking into the bottom of the Cornwallis River, the tide was out, and saw three Iceland gulls, I heard the goldeneyes flush from the sewer pond (whistlers!) and noticed a red tailed hawk coursing the river. I was surprised to see twenty six Iceland gulls flush from among the small ice pans on the river bottom that I had not noticed. I have never seen this many Iceland gulls at once here in Port Williams. George Forsyth
