Hi,

2 of us saw some good birds in the N.Kentville area yesterday as part of
the Wolfville CBC.

Just around the corner from our house was a PEREGRINE sitting on a snag in
a recently clear curt area. Looked quite small, and had a very well marked
"helmet" so was probably a male anatum.

At Miner's Marsh N. of the Cornwallis River were a RED- BELLIED WOODPECKER,
and N. FLICKER, HAIRY and DOWNY in quick succession. (Also there were
adult and young BEAVER hanging round a beaver lodge near the bridge).

Returning home for lunch there was a N.MOCKINGBIRD in the yard, not
attending feeders.

There was an adult BALD EAGLE standing on last year's nest at Eagle Landing
subdivision.

3 BROWN CREEPERS in one spot near the hospital.

No doubt Alison, or Jim, will soon provide a fuller account of the whole
Wolfville CBC.

Richard
