David Walmark and I went birding for a few hours today.  Of note at Second =
Peninsula was a brown creeper and 7 Bonaparte Gulls.

There were more 4 more Bonaparte Gulls at the Back Oler Farm Marsh in Garde=
n Lots.  Hooded mergansers were in various numbers at a lot of locations.

At Back Harbour Lunenburg=2C there were 32 common mergansers.  The Back Har=
bour Trail was alive with roughly 226 American robins=2C 46 American goldfi=
nches=2C 13 purple finches=2C a hairy woodpecker=2C a northern flicker and =
a few other species.  A merlin came down through the middle and put the fea=
r into all of these birds making them explode forth for their lives.  A sin=
gle yellow-rumped warbler was also present. =20
