Evidence of a nocturnal and diurnal migration was very evident today along
the shores of the Northumberland Strait in Antigonish County. American
Robins dominated the flight but there were numbers of Northern Flickers,
White-throated Sparrows, Juncos, and Yellow-rumped Warblers. The majority of
Robins were heading west with lesser numbers going southwest.
