Sunday, October 23 2011

Mike and Rita Viau and I saw the Snow Goose and the possible pink footed
goose in a field next to the Manning farm - on Dyke Road, just past Gabriel
Road - in Falmouth.

Afterwards, I left and checked out the Windsor ponds and found an Eurasian
wigeon with a few American Wigeons.

It was time to check out Bissett Lake in Dartmouth to see if ducks and geese
have sought refugee there. None yet, but there were 1 American coot, 1
Greater Scaup, and 1 Pied billed Grebe.

Cheers
liz
