photo seems to show the white spot just behind the first dorsal fin, so it
probably indeed is/was a porbeagle shark. This is a true Canadian shark,
or rather a shark of the North Atlantic, liking cool waters, and the
Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC) has written a
status report on it and evaluated the species as a possible species at risk
