Came across my first Blackpoll warbler in the Three Fathom Harbour this year
so I am down to just three warbler species left! Also got good looks at
an eastern Wood peewee and a young boreal chickadee there.

At the Shorebird cove, there were 80+ short billed dowitchers, 10+ lesser
yellowlegs, a few least sandpipers, a few semipalmated sandpipers, and 20+
semipalmated plovers. There was a shore bird which was as big as a
semipalmated plover. It's not Baird's or White-rumped. What could it be?

On the cove path, I also found Blue Jay feathers indicating that a hawk got
it. Maybe a goshawk??

Cheers,
Liz
