I'm not monitoring them this year, so I can't say for sure. Kestrels are down too, so perhaps the meadow voles crashed this year, too? I realize that the diet of Kestrels is quite diverse, including large insects, but none-the-less, low rodent numbers is likely the best hypothesis.
