I found this pair of Black Scoters swimming along the edge of Indian Harbour
Lake, Guyborough Co, NS, right next to the road.
 I shot several photos from my car window at 10x with a little Fuji Fx70, as
they nonchalantly swam towards me.

The lake is directly connected to the ocean by a 100ft river, but is
freshwater. There was still ice on 1/3 of the lake.
