Nick and I drove out to try to see and photograph the Northern Lapwing.  After a 
bit of time, scouting around the golf course with Mike Drenth and Syliva 
Fullerton et al, we decided to have breakfast at the lodge.  While we were 
there, Mike texted us to tell us the bird has come back.  We tried for pictures 
but it was too far away even with our equipment but I did get "Record" or "Doc" 
Shots for my gallery.   You can view them here:

A new lifer for us and, although not totally satisfied with the pictures, a 
possible photo lifer. 

On our way back, we drove along the three and at LaHave, we found Surf Scoters, 
along with Common Mergansers and Common Eiders.  A photo lifer for us and a 
complete surprise to see the colourful bills and the white necks.  The pictures
