Hi All=2C=20
What I believe is a Clay-colored Sparrow has been around the feeders fo=
r the last few days joining the female Indigo Bunting that also remains. As=
the Clay-colored Sparrow=2C in this plumage=2C can be confused with the Ch=
ipping Sparrow I've posted a few photos for people to confirm the ID.=20
I've also posted a couple of shots of the bunting to confirm what I thi=
nk is a female and not a 1st fall bird.=20
Another observations over the last few days include a small group of Co=
mmon Grackles that passed though on Friday.=20
Also on Friday I heard what I believe was a Winter Wren in full voice. =
It is the first I've heard in the area that wasn't at a high elevation. Is =
it normal for wrens to sing in the fall?=20
    All the best.
