Index of Subjects Hello Dorothy - You have a good flock of birds. I have a few I didn't mention - the purple finch for example. They have been around all summer, but their numbers have decreased of late as have the gold finch, and one or two other birds. I have a couple of feeders attached to a window and have a lot of birds that stop for a lunch there where I can see them without any effort. I have just had cataract surgery and one eye has yet to be done, which has slowed down my bird watching somewhat. Roland. ----- Original Message ----- From: "dorothy Cameron" <dorth@eastlink.ca> To: <naturens@chebucto.ns.ca> Sent: Sunday, October 24, 2010 10:41 AM Subject: RE: [NatureNS] Re: Cardinal > Roland, lucky you to have the male, I had a female early this morning as > well as 14 redwinged black birds, 32 starlings, 9 doves, one > Yellow-Bellied > Sap Sucker, 9 blue jays, couple of chickadees, a junco.
