I arrived at Western Head, Queen's Co., about 2:30 this afternoon to find two adult Laughing Gulls flycatching over the short grass near the light. During the next hour they were joined by at least eight more that came in off the sea and joined in very active aerial flycatching. At the opposite end of the spectrum: Stuart Tingley has noted that Laughing Gulls show a strong preference for McDonalds over Tim Hortons. That was still true in Liverpool this afternoon, where the M:TH ratio was 40:0 (if anything divided by zero can be a ratio).
