I didn't know the proper term. I got mine at the store in Mahone Bay. Such Eagle binos like mine are no longer manufactured so in place are those made in China. ----- Original Message ----- From: Ulli To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca Sent: Thursday, July 22, 2010 2:42 PM Subject: Re: [NatureNS] binoculars I assume you speak about the twist-up eyecups and not the rain-guards. Eyecups are manufacturer and model specific, therefore there is hardly a general solution. Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer. I don't know what model of Eagles you own, but some of their products are covered by a life time no fault warranty and you can have them repaired or replaced for a small fee. Just check their website or with the retailer where you purchased them on how to proceed. On 22-Jul-10, at 2:18 PM, Elizabeth Doull wrote: Please do reply on-line because I have the same problem. However, I am missing an eye cap (really need 2) I have tried For the Birds, the Bushnell repair shop, 3 camera shops in Halifax, Nortown in Toronto and United Camera in Illinois With no luck. The repair shop suggested I make eye covers using an inner tube I will buy a new pr. , however I would still like to have these in working order Would anyone have a suggestion? Contacting me off-line would be appreciated Thanks in advance Gail Bruhm ------=_NextPart_000_0137_01CB29AD.0B2CAF70 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.18928"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY=20 style=3D"WORD-WRAP: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; = -webkit-line-break: after-white-space"=20 bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV>Yes, I mean twist up eyecups to suit those wearing = eyeglasses.
