Index of Subjects This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0006_01CB28CA.B8739B00 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Tuma brings up a question which I have also asked myself. I am on several listserves and, on all of them, people write in whatever they want. If the members are careful with their subject headings, one can tell at a glance which messages to read. On another listserv, I am "the expert", so I erase 90% without reading, particularly when I see that I cannot be of help. The other 10% are invaluable to me. On this one, I am the rank amateur, and I assume the professionals may not read my observations. I am very grateful, however, when those of you with so much more expertise do take the time to help me! Some members love all photos. Some don't bother with sightings far from their own purviews. Some read only birds, or only leps and odes, etc. For some, no doubt, "It's all good", as the youngsters say. Listserves are wonderful! But please (as most of you do), include the place and subject in the title. Is it the NS Reportable species or just whatever we see. I imagine that for the Rare Bird Alert, it is the reportable species but what about for this listserv?
