Dorothy Poole and I went back into my Caribou Lake square today in Lunenbur=
g County near the Gold River end. We had an excellent day with my adding a=
number of new species to the square. In the first atlas this particular s=
quare had no data at all. Anyhow=2C there are still lots of birds that can=
be confirmed out there. In not having seen a single ruffed grouse in this=
square after a number fo vists=2C I hit the jackpot today with at least fi=
ve separate broods with young. =20

=20

We found a Canada warbler and a number of verrys. Lots of yellow-bellied s=
apsuckers were about with young. =20

=20

Our best bird was a pair of nesting eastern bluebirds.

=20

Leps of interest were a harvester and little skipper.
