Hi All,

I had the pleasure of checking out the new trail system at Nine Mile =
River last Sunday. It was a combination of mountain biking and =
photographing.=20
Combining the two is an exciting new pursuit of mine.=20

It's a great spot with a variety of habitats and the highlight of the =
day was a very vocal Northern Goshawk near the end of the "new" trail. I =
was thinking there may be a nest nearby, judging by how agitated the =
bird was. (Heard, not seen).

Images, and report of the area and photography may be seen on my blog =
listed below.=20

There is also a facebook site dedicated to the trail =
system:http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=3D5035425&o=3Dall&op=3D1&=
view=3Dall&subj=3D117345931640434&aid=3D-1&id=3D654620964

Also seen tonight were my first fireflies of the year at Sandy Lake Park =
off of the Hammond's Plains Road.

cheers,

Gary Murray
