Index of Subjects Checked out the location near Berwick where a Willow Flycatcher tried to attract a mate for over a month last summer. Not there today but a Brown Thrasher was. Last evening at the Palmeter Woods field, there were a number of Common Ringlets as well some Northern Crescents. The Ringlets may have been flying earlier since I have not been in their habitat in the past week. At Seven Bridges Toads were trilling (late?) and a few Bullfrogs were harumphing. Green frogs have been calling for a while now. Today on the edge of the North Mountain, there was a Mourning Cloak, a White Admiral & many Red Admirals & Tiger Swallowtails. All the species mentioned were documented (photos) for the Butterfly Atlas, a small start indeed. Angus
