the antidote for that type of poisoning and she came around quickly.She =

        Thank you for the information, Chris. Know the fundraiser will =
be a good time. I did look up the term 'organophosphate poison' and see =
that it can refer to types of pesticides. Hope the Bald Eagle does well, =
as well as the other wildlife, there, in her care.

          Hi everyone:=20

          I have found that if I take my computer from my desk, where it =
has internet access, to the sofa, where it doesn't, at least i can spend =
some time composing e-mail even if can't do any web browsing.

          Chris got the boxes after the March or April meeting when I =
discovered them at the museum outside our locker. There was a large =
plastic one which had all of the billing paperwork, etc and several =
cardboard ones. One had old curled mailing envelopes, one had newer =
ones. We consolidated these into one box and put the other one or two in =
an area that looked like it was for cardboard recycling.

          I'll call Halcraft tomorrow and see if the new ones are =
finished.

          If we pay as much for postage for 14 issues outside of Canada =
as all the rest combined, are we charging enough for these memberships =
to justify the extra expense? If not, we should review this. As for it =
all coming on one bill, given the size of the invoice forms, there is =
likely a place on it for "non-publication-rate postage" which is why we =
get one bill.=20

          It is hard to say if mailing both issues at the same time =
would save money or not. Unfortunately, the Canada Post web site seems =
to keep making it harder and harder to find information. Most mail rated =
are not done "by the pound" they are done per item and for letter mail =
that is normally done with weight ranges. (First class, for example is =
something like 0-30g, 30-50g, and 50-200g. So it would cost the same to =
mail two 75g items in an envelope as it would to mail one.=20

          (I'm also not sure how this mailout got "returned". Was it =
simply rejected at the post office?)

          Chris, can you call me at home when you get a chance =
(472-2322) or give me a good time and number to call you. (At least the =
phone is still usable on your side!)

          I'm back at the clinic tomorrow afternoon=E2=80=A6

            Did Chris get those boxes? I assume at least one of them, as =
he used some=20

there should=20

            I don't have time to check on this in the museum before =
Thursday evening,=20
            just a full schedule for the first part of the week.

              Hi;

              Just spoke to Peter LeBlanc. He says he left three boxes =
on the floor in front of the NSBS cabinet in the Societies' mailroom at =
the Museum about one month ago? Maybe 5 weeks ago?

              These boxes were clearly marked "NSBS" and contained all =
the envelopes for mailing. Pete says there were enough to mail out the =
next two issues.

              There was also an envelope containing all the bills of =
lading, and complete instructions on the process of doing a mail-out. =
One of the three boxes was marked US and International mail. This box =
holds our magazines for issues mailed to points outside Canada. There =
are about 14 issues, and they cost almost as much to mail as all the =
other issues together.

              Pete says he always has some envelopes that are "stuck" =
from humidity. He uses a chopstick (plastic) to slide under the edge =
and carefully open it. No problem, according to him.

              Ulli, did you find the three boxes that Pete left? Were =
they given to Chris? Chris, if you have the three boxes, do you have =
the bills of lading and the instructions?

              Cheers;

              Suzanne

          <DIV>Chris got the boxes after the March or April meeting when =
I=20

several=20
