Index of Subjects Hi Doug & All, May 26, 2010 I think I speak for everyone when I express appreciation of your activities as moderator but I wish to disagree with you slightly on this point. The lessons to be learned from the Gulf Oil spill could not have been as widely discussed, digested and distributed if the subject had not been raised on NatureNS. So, in my view, raising the subject was a good idea. Perhaps, as a consequence of this recent discussion, more who have opposed wind power in the past will reconsider and become supporters; to the benefit of the natural world in NS. In addition, perhaps some who overconsume petrochemicals or petrochemical energy will reconsider and reduce their consumption; to the benefit of the natural world in NS. My two cents; Dave Webster, Kentville ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Linzey" <naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca> To: <naturens@chebucto.ns.ca> Sent: Wednesday, May 26, 2010 10:11 AM Subject: Re: [NatureNS] Gulf Oil Spill: the lesson's to be learned > At this point, I suggest that this discussion be taken off list -- it's > drifted a long way from Nova Scotia natural history.
