I can't think of an instance when I've recorded seeing one anywhere in the upper Bay of Fundy-Minas Basin region. I've often wondered why not?? Do they not like fishing where there are extreme tides? Re R-B Nuthatches: I have two at the feeder (Avonport) every day, pretty much regular visits since mid-winter. For a while they were overlapping with two W-B Nuthatches, however, it has been two months since I've seen or heard the latter. Sherman On 22/05/2010, at 4:31 PM, James W.
