This afternoon, on the Wagner's Beach trail (on the Prospect
Peninsula, HRM), there were many Spring Azures, roughly forty, and
most were actively chasing and nectering around Rhodora, which was
blooming in profusion. Other leps included two elfins which got
away, and two fresh American Ladies. Near the shoreline there were
many honeysuckles in bloom, and along the trail patches of Bunchberry
were out. Though it has been cooler of late plants and trees are
still ahead of schedulr -- our Red Maples are leafing out three weeks early.

Cheers,

Blake
