There were (was?) a good number circling when I arrived= about 20:35=3B the first one entered the chimney at 20:45=2C but the rest= remained actively feeding for another 7 minutes until darkness was falling= - probably because it had been raining until about an hour earlier. All t= he rest entered between 20:53 and 20:55=2C which made them difficult to cou= nt=2C but I came up with a number of 115=2C counting by fives. =20 =20 Today (6th) also produced my first of year for our other apodiform spe= cies - a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird appeared at my feeder in Tremont ju= st after the rain=2C and my neighbour Sheila Hulford had her first today as= well=2C a female at her feeder.
