Index of Subjects --0-1117423733-1272823553=:32619 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Hi Everyone: When ever Cathy Murrant would take Nick and I birding, I would sometimes tease her by saying "OMG-I've spotted a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker" and Cathy would freak out a bit. After which I would say "April Fool". However, I thought for sure I have spotted the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker and took a picture. I sent this to Cathy (with a bit of gloat on my part) but to her credit she has told me that I have mistaken the identification and that it is really a Golden-fronted Woodpecker. I told her that it has a yellow-belly and that it is a woodpecker thus it is a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker for my list. Cathy told me that I cannot change the names of the birds-they are what they are. I will confirm this with David Curry. If you want to see it, go to my web gallery at: http://gallery.me.com/tumayoung#100466/Golden-fronted%20Woodpecker&bgcolor=black Nick and I are in McAllen, Texas where we took the picture and are enjoying the birding. Tuma and Nick Halifax, NS Koqwaqja'tekaq'tinej.
