Hello All,
=A0
The OC Warbler shows no inclination to move on. Perhaps the timing is right=
on but I truly thought the hormones would have kicked in by now=A0and he w=
ould have already=A0gone off to his breeding grounds in Northern Canada and=
 Labrador.
Due to the coolish temps these last few days I did purchase 200 more meal-w=
orms which he=A0has been=A0veraciously devouring (before the Chickadees and=
 Starlings move in).
Have had 2 male Red-winged Blackbirds squaring off with their striking wing=
displays. Both my neighbour, Robie & I have been looking to see if there i=
s a female around but so far, we haven't seen any, at our feeders, anyway. =
The Northern Flicker is very evident and making lots of noise.
Am in the process of moving some Rhododendron shrubs to the backyard and ha=
ve begun the root pruning process. Lots of rocks need to be removed during =
this process=A0and underneath, lots of salamanders, pretty sluggish, at the=
 moment.
