All: The last day or two has seen development of something like last spring's early-April meteorological set up, with strong airflow from s.e. US. The responsible low near the Great Lakes is not as deep as last spring's, and there is a high off the Atlantic coast, so there is no great sweep of strong winds offshore with a final focus on the Mariitimes. However, there is pretty good flow from the Caribbean up the East Coast, some early birds are as expected, and maybe someone will pin down Liz Doull's Cave(?) Swallow. Photos are almost mandatory for pinning down Caribbean vs. southwestern subspecies (or species) of Cave Swallow. Cheers, Ian Ian McLaren
