Jeff (Ogden) and I have been getting ticks regularly now since about the end of February.

Wolfville Ridge:

I was surprised to find an engorged dog tick that had dropped off one of our
Springer Spaniels, in her sleeping quarters yesterday. The earliest date we
have encountered ticks here, but as Andrew Hebda reminded us (CBC Info
Morning today), the bug season will begin much earlier this spring because
of our warm weather. Can hardly wait !!

Cheers,

Judy Tufts
