Hi all:

=20

Not guaranteed=2C but I can think of nothing else that it could have been. =
On Feb. 24 just outside of Lunenburg in the morning Pat and I had a hawk s=
wing over the car. By the time we got out for a better look it was gone. =
What I saw while driving was a hawk with a gray chest and wings=2C and ligh=
t or white on the head area and on the bottom of the wings=2C=20

but a large proportion of the wings from the wrist out were solid black. T=
he way the wings were splayed in flight also suggest a Mississippi Kite. It=
would have been a life bird for me and I'm sorry that I did not obtain a b=
etter look. I cannot think of any other raptor that would have had the blac=
k on the outer part of the wings like the bird had and that is very light g=
ray in color.
