The 8 Baltimore Orioles in my yard in Halifax are still doing well.  All ma=
de it through yesterday's storm and were desperate for mealworms this morni=
ng.  They have begun to sing a few notes=2C and to show small patches of bl=
ack feathers on their heads and necks.  As of a week ago=2C the one recover=
ing from an injury at Helene Van Doninck's was also doing well.  So of the =
10 that were here in early January=2C 9 have survived to this point=2C than=
ks to this mild winter.
