All made it through yesterday's storm and were desperate for mealworms this morning. They have begun to sing a few notes, and to show small patches of black feathers on their heads and necks. As of a week ago, the one recovering from an injury at Helene Van Doninck's was also doing well. So of the 10 that were here in early January, 9 have survived to this point, thanks to this mild winter.
