Hi All:

Some may enjoy a well-known U.S. birder's take on a brief visit to NB and NS.
The sociological insights are also fun.

Among the bird reports therein, take special note of the finds at the continuing
sewage boil off the wharf of the Halifax Harbourfront Marriot where there was a
phenomenal gathering of Iceland Gulls. A scope is required, and beware the
pesky security guards noted in the blog; photographing the hotel complex from
the wharf is a no-no, for some unfathomable reason.

BTW, DerekLovitch's blog site is worth bookmarking as it often has bird reports
of interest to us.

Cheers, Ian
