The first are the Purple = Sandpipers at Pt. Pleasant Park back on January 23rd: http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989583_54= kgg/Large Here are a Bufflehead pair fron Tufts Cove on Monday February 8th. There = was the usual Barrows Goldeneye there as well on that day, but I moved = my car at the wrong time and blew a photo op, as I almost did with these = two: http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989589_KK= jdz/Large Here's another photo, also from Monday, of a male Northern Harrier over = Sullivans Pond. It really messed me up for I.D. , being that I rarely = see them this far into the city, rarely view the bird from below, and = for some reason the vast majority that I have seen over the years have = been females which, besides having a different color scheme, are very = obviously larger. The photo link following it is of a borderline mature = Bald Eagle that is in fact one I had viewed near Rainbow Haven on = January 24th, but I am placing it here because I viewed one the same day = as the Harrier near Sullivans Pond that resembled it quite a bit and = may well be the same eagle: http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989577_C3= Ppt/Large http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989600_ce= QeV/Large And finally, here are a few pics of a Red-tailed Hawk that I presume I = have been seeing all over Dartmouth a lot lately, and with it a usual = entourage of crows tagging along, but almost always beyond decent photo = distance. Yesterday it decide to drop by close to...you guessed = it...near Sullivans Pond, Dartmouth: http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989567_vS= M4x/Large http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989559_h2= 9EL/Large http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989563_GL= Rfd/Large http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_ynXPk/22/785989570_rX= HXk/Large Bernard Burke blburke@ns.sympatico.ca Dartmouth ------=_NextPart_000_0003_01CAAAFE.561AC310 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2900.3660" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Here are a few photos I've added = recently.
