I was visiting my mother in Coal Creek, New Brunswick this past weekend.
She was telling me she had a grackle or some kind of blackbird coming to =
her
feeder every day. Sure enough it showed up on both Saturday and Sunday
while I was there. =20

The first time I saw it I noted that the tail was much too small to be a
Grackle. On Sunday I had several good looks at this bird and noted the
almost white eye. I would say that what she has is a Brewer's =
Blackbird.
