It was visiting the bird-cage suet feeder several times lat= e this afternoon. Has no trepidation about going through the rungs of the c= age to get to the suet. Sometimes it sits inside the cage on the bottom bar= s for a short time before flitting off to a branch to rub/clean its beak. H= ad a Northern Flicker visiting today, too, to one of the other suet feeders= ,=A0as well as the 3 Downy Woodpeckers (very often in the same group- one m= ale, 2 females). I saw 2 House Sparrows also today. Had seen none at my fee= ders for a very long time. They used to be as numerous as Starlings (well, = not really...). But they=A0used to be=A0very common in my backyard. Perhaps= they are just in someone elses back yard, now. =A0 Cheers!! =A0 Gayle MacLean Dartmouth.=0A=0A=0A __________________________________________________= ________________=0AThe new Internet Explorer=AE 8 - Faster, safer, easier. = Optimized for Yahoo!
