Hi Everyone;

Today is the first day of the Christmas Bird Count period, and in
anticipation of you heading out to assist in the various counts I've
updated the Nova Scotia Winter List Page. With recent reports we've
filled in many of the gaps but we've a long way to go to even get
close to the long term average. The Winter List Web Page is:

tinyurl.com/nswinter

There are plenty of "easy" birds to be found -- Purple Finch, Horned
Lark, Savannah Sparrow, Brown Creeper, Lapland Longspur, Dickcissel,
etc. Fight the winter blues -- "Go Birding!", as Mike King would say.

Cheers,

Blake
