Hi there,

I noted the following plants today, still with some blooms,
on the campuses of King's College and Dalhousie.

Aster lateriflorus Calico Aster
Aster nova-belgii New York Aster
Bidens frondosa Common Beggar Ticks
Daucus carota Queen Anne's Lace
Erysimum cheiranthoides Wormseed Mustard
Galinsoga ciliata Galinsoga
Hypericum perforatum Common St. John's-wort
Leontodon autumnalis Fall Dandelion
Polygonum aviculare Doorweed
Polygonum persicaria Lady's Thumb
Senecio viscosus Clammy Groundsel
Senecio vulgaris Common Groundsel
Solidago rugosa Rough-stemmed Goldenrod
Sonchus arvensis Perennial Sow Thistle
Trifolium pratense Red Clover

The majority of these flowers are identified as aliens in
Zinck's edition of Roland's Flora of Nova Scotia.

         Cheers,

         Patricia L. Chalmers
         Halifax
