While walking the edge of a brook yesterday in Oban, Rich. Co. looking
for a crossing spot, there was a large Green frog sitting on the bank.
I picked it up and it didn't struggle, but moved quite lethargically.
I released it back into the brook and it swam quite easily to the
undercut bank. Would it have been washed up by the heavy flow or was
it probably resting? Should they be hibernating by now? Any
thoughts?
