Laura and I took a drive through East Hants County and along the Shubenacadie Canal and its associated lakes in search of fall colours, unfortunately about one week late from the prime time. I've posted most of these photos and a few birds on my website rather than Pbase which has become unreliable of late.

Due to the Pbase system crash here's the complete September album page in case anyone is interested: http://www.pbase.com/snahmoot/highlights_sept_09

This is my link to the October highlights page on my website which I will use more regularly from now on. I will update Pbase only just once a month: http://www.hanstoom.com/Highlights/October09/0100.html

The first page has a tall vertical scroll on the inaugural visit of the Queen Victoria. Living at the entrance to the port city of Halifax I also photograph ships.

Hans
