Oct 4 /09 Bernard and Sandra Forsythe have just reported there was a single HUDSONIAN GODWIT on the outer rocks of the western dyke - Grand Pre - opposite the Wolfville Sewage Ponds this afternoon (Sun) around high tide (1.30 p.m.). Yesterday (Sat) there were two H. GODWITS (one pale grey, the second one and the one seen again today still has some patchy breeding feathers). There were 50+ Blk-bellied Plovers as well as 50+ Dunlins and a few Semip. and Least Sandpipers, and Semip. Plovers, in the mixed roosting flock. In the Wolfville harbour today they found ~20 Yellowlegs (probably the same Gtrs that JWW and I have been seeing there lately), one Short-billed Dowitcher and a few 'peeps'. Cheers, Judy Tufts >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Judy Tufts Wolfville <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
