This morning at Duncan's Cove there were lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers, one Blue-headed Vireo, one Swainson's Thrush, one Gray Catbird, one Ruby-crowned Kinglet, lots of Swamp Sparrows, several Boreal Chickadees and flocks of American Robins and Cedar Waxwings. Yesterday I spotted an Ipswich Sparrow at Duncan's Reef and another one this morning on the coastal barrens above Duck Reef. Two American Pipits were at Duncan Reef on Tuesday.

On my drive around to Sambro Creek I encountered lots more Yellow-rumped Warblers, Cedar Waxwings, American Robins, Gray Catbirds and Swamp Sparrows, and one Hermit Thrush that posed nicely at Sambro Creek. This has been a banner year for Gray Catbirds.
