All:

Marie Reid reports that two small egrets continue this morning in the marshes of
Cow Bay Lake, mostly remote from the Silver Sands Beach. A photo from June 14
does suggest Little rather than Snowy Egret, but is too distant for certainty.
Two taken yesterday of the duo are even less diagnostic.

It is interesting that these birds linger as a possible pair, and worth
following up. Little Egrets breed in Barbadoes and hybrid Little X Snowy have
been suspected in s.e. U.S.A.

Cheers, Ian

Ian McLaren
