Last evening at around 10:40 pm. I happened to look up into the Northern sky as I was leaving the Waegwoltic Club in Halifax. A large and extremely bright object was in the sky. I thought it was a light from a helicopter but the large bright light quickly dissipated into a very tiny moving spec. I suppose that was the space station. Spectacular!

As I was staring at the sky, I also observed six Nighthawks darting about near a bright night light. It was fascinating watching them scooping up flying insects but especially moths, in mid air.
