All: You can see for yourselves the trends of many NS birds by going into the Breeding Bird Survey Website, specifically, to http://www.mbr-pwrc.usgs.gov/cgi-bin/atlasa99.pl?NS%20&2&05 This gives trends and significance levels over the last 40+ years. Just click on the bird names and you'll get graphs (more useful at a glance) and numerical output. Lots to think (and worry) about. Here are some direct examples: Tree Swallow: http://www.mbr-pwrc.usgs.gov/cgi-bin/plotpgm0.pl?/sula/jrs/bbs05/htmind/06140.ns Barn Swallow: http://www.mbr-pwrc.usgs.gov/cgi-bin/plotpgm0.pl?/sula/jrs/bbs05/htmind/06130.ns Cheers, Ian McLaren
