Jim is right, of course, but I'm old enough to be able to claim confusion. We actually had two hummingbird home invasions, on consecutive days in May 2004. The photo of the hummingbird with the glass Blue Jay, which I gave a link to in my first email, is a male, the next photo in the gallery, is a female hummer in my hand.
