Liz Doull and I headed down to CSI early this morning to see if we could
find the Boat/Great-tailed Grackle without any luck. It was last seen
briefly yesterday morning in the backyard of Aileen and Julie in Barrington
Passage and they say it hasn't been seen there since. We scoured CSI and
Barrington Passage by car but didn't find it. I guess we will have to wait
for someone to report a GOUS (grackle of unusual size).

On the way home we stopped at Margaret Millard's feeder in White Point. We
saw her Blue Grosbeak but the Rose-breasted Grosbeak and another grosbeak
had been at the feeder just before we arrived and didn't reappear. Margaret
thinks the other grosbeak may be a Black-headed one but isn't sure. Her
male hummingbird was doing its arc flying and chasing off intruders.
