Hi All=2C

Yesterday I had a report of an odd goose=3B possible a Barnacle Goose=3B=
with some Canada Geese on the inner part of South Harbour Beach. I checked=
it out today and although I had only some long scope views it appeared to =
be a dark adult Snow Goose.=20

The goose was about 2/3 the size of a Canada Goose with a dark gray/bla=
ck body=2C white underside and lower rump (under tail coverts)=2C white hea=
d with dark line from the back up to=2C but not including=2C the crown and =
a pink/orange bill that appeared a little shorter than the Canada Geese. Th=
e short video I was able to capture is only useful to determine size=2C in =
comparison to Canada Geese=2C and basic colours.

I will try in a day or two to get better video and more details. If any=
one thinks it might be something else I'd be interested in knowing as my Go=
ose ID skills leave a lot to be desired.

I also noted three three Piping Plovers on the outer beach.

    All the best.
