HI All:
Birding is still good here on Popes Rd. A short time ago I had eight
Orioles: 2 orchard and 6 Baltimore. Today we have more im. than yesterday
and one female. Still have most of the same birds as yesterday although the
Purple and Gold finches are in greater numbers. I spotted Three Northern
Harriers hovering over the swamp behind our house. I presume they are young
males as two of them locked talons in what looked like a mock battle, very
interesting to watch though!
I have a bit of video of Both Orchard Orioles, a Baltimore Oriole and a male
Rose-breasted Grosbeak who were in a bush at the same time. It's hard to
get anything done!!
